Key Responsibilities Handle customer inquiries and provide timely and effective resolutions to their queries Process Aviva travel customers' policies, including medical and trip upgrades Deal with complex medical queries and screen customers' medical conditions Adhere to mandatory call scripts and ensure compliance with FCA regulations Use multiple systems simultaneously to manage customer interactions and policy information Own and handle FCA-regulated complaints through to completion, ensuring customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance Identify and record customer vulnerability, providing empathy and support where needed Take ownership of underwriting risks and deal with these queries with caution and customer protection in mind Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you will need: Proficient computer skills and the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish collaborative customer relationships Comprehensive experience in a customer service environment, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector A positive attitude and openness to feedback, with a willingness to learn and improve Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment A professional and friendly manner, with the ability to interact with diverse customers and stakeholders A good, consistent typing speed and the ability to work efficiently in a remote environment Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are desirable: Previous experience in the insurance or financial services sector Knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance requirements Experience working in a remote or flexible work environment Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically What We Offer blithequark is committed to providing its employees with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth and development.
