As a Customer Service Support Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive the best possible experience, from initial inquiries to resolution of complex issues. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Support Representative, you will be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and payers, responding to their inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner * Researching and communicating complex information in a clear and concise manner, using your knowledge of healthcare and billing processes to resolve client concerns * Navigating and working in multiple systems and websites simultaneously, ensuring seamless communication and efficient issue resolution * Receiving and processing credit card payments over the phone, adhering to PCI compliance protocols * Initiating payment plans for patients with outstanding balances, ensuring timely and effective resolution * Documenting telephone conversations clearly and accurately in the respective systems, maintaining accurate records and case notes * Updating and maintaining records in the billing system, including reviewing accounts, payment collections, and case notes * Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines and regulations * Assisting with other duties as assigned, contributing to the success of the team and the organization **Essential Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you will need: * A high school diploma or equivalent * 1-3 years of applicable experience in customer service, healthcare, or a related field * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders * Knowledge of professional medical billing and collection practices, with experience in laboratory billing and laboratory information systems (LIS) a plus * Ability to interpret and apply understanding of insurance explanation of benefits (EOB) and prior authorization processes * Experience with XIFIN, Medicare/Medicaid billing, and CPT and ICD10 codes highly preferred * Previous customer service experience handling high call volumes, with excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to follow established program protocols and procedures, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Computer proficiency in MS Windows, MS Office, and database experience, with the ability to review large amounts of data for accuracy **Preferred Qualifications** While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable: * Associate degree or higher in a related field * Bilingual in English and Spanish * Experience with Women's Health & Genetics Moms Helping Moms of Tomorrow processes * Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and regulations **Work Environment and Culture** As a work-from-home Customer Service Support Representative, you will enjoy: * A flexible and supportive work environment, with opportunities for growth and development * A dynamic and inclusive team culture, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork * Access to comprehensive training and resources, ensuring your success in the role * Opportunities for career advancement and professional growth, with a focus on employee development and well-being **Compensation and Benefits** As a valued member of the blithequark team, you will enjoy: * A competitive salary range of $15.50-$19.00 or state/local minimum wage, if higher * Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan * Opportunities for career advancement and professional growth, with a focus on employee development and well-being **Application and Selection Process** To apply for this exciting opportunity, please submit your application through our website.
