About the Role As a member of our Borrower Success Team at blithequark, you will play a vital role in helping student loan borrowers navigate our tools and enroll in federal forgiveness and repayment programs. With comprehensive training and hands-on experience, you will quickly become an expert in the student loan landscape, serving as the first point of contact for our users. This is a remote, full-time, contractor role for up to 5 months, with the possibility of extension or permanent hiring based on performance and company needs. Key Responsibilities Understanding blithequark's product offerings and how they address borrowers' needs, ensuring you can effectively communicate the value of our services. Engaging with borrowers via email and live chat, providing exceptional customer support and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Reviewing and submitting applications for federal loan programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with program requirements. Proactively suggesting and implementing ideas and automations that can help scale the team, contributing to process improvements and efficiency. Bringing user feedback to life with the product, design, and engineering teams to create new features and offerings, ensuring our products meet the evolving needs of our borrowers. Collaborating with the Borrower Success Team to achieve team and company growth goals in line with our social mission, fostering a culture of teamwork and mutual support. Essential Qualifications We are seeking teammates with at least one year of relevant work experience. Experience with start-ups, finance (including financial aid or fintech), government programs, or customer support is highly valued. You should be passionate about applying your talents in a fast-paced startup environment to tackle a major social issue of our time.
