As a response specialist, you will assist customers with delivery of safety services, including Emergency Assistance, Automatic Collision Notification, Hands-free Destination Assist, Stolen Vehicle Locator, and more. Key Responsibilities Listen carefully and evaluate each caller's situation to provide appropriate solutions and resolve issues efficiently Exhibit a high degree of caring and empathy on each call, handling stressful situations in a calming and professional manner Multi-task to find answers while on the call with the customer, ensuring a seamless and effective support experience React and respond decisively in emergency situations, prioritizing the customer's safety and well-being Reassure, control, and diffuse emotional and/or difficult calls, maintaining a positive and composed demeanor Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess a caring, sympathetic, and helpful demeanor, with strong customer service skills and active listening abilities. Prior experience with driver assistance programs is a bonus, but not required. We are looking for contractors who are purely English speaking, as well as those who are fluent in Spanish and/or French Canadian. Required Skills and Competencies Caring, sympathetic, and helpful demeanor Strong customer service skills, including active listening and empathy Ability to multi-task and find answers while on the call with the customer Ability to react and respond decisively in emergency situations Ability to reassure, control, and diffuse emotional and/or difficult calls Fluency in English, with optional fluency in Spanish and/or French Canadian Tech Requirements and Work Environment To work as a remote customer support response specialist, you will need a quiet, uninterrupted environment during all working hours, with a broadband internet connection (recommended at least 10 MBPS) and a wired internet connection for tech setups, education classes, and work. You should also have a Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system, valid antivirus software, and a wired USB headset with microphone (gaming headsets not accepted). Additionally, you will need a smartphone, Android tablet, or iPad and be willing to install an authentication app related to program work. Compensation and Benefits As a contractor with arenaflex, you can expect competitive pay rates, with a contract rate of $0.28 per customer interaction minute and a guaranteed minimum of 45 minutes per available hour. This translates to an equivalent of $12.60 - $16.80 per hour. Bilingual contractors will earn a rate of $0.31 per customer interaction minute, with a 48-minute minimum guarantee, and can expect to earn an equivalent of $14.88 - $18.60 per hour.
