As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere, while still being part of a dynamic and collaborative team. **Key Responsibilities:** As an Experienced Customs Trade Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include: * Providing exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner * Processing customs documentation, including import and export records, duty calculations, and other related documents * Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of shipments, including tracking numbers, delivery dates, and other relevant information * Collaborating with internal teams, including sales, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and coordination * Staying up-to-date with changing regulations and requirements, including customs laws, tariffs, and other trade-related policies * Utilizing various software systems and tools, including MS Office, Viewpoint, and other relevant applications * Performing other duties as assigned, including data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks **Requirements:** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as international trade, logistics, or business administration * At least 6 months of experience in a related field, preferably in customs brokerage or international trade * Strong knowledge of customs regulations, tariffs, and other trade-related policies * Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team * Proficiency in MS Office, Viewpoint, and other relevant software systems * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high volume of work and tight deadlines * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions **Preferred Qualifications:** While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: * Experience with customs clearance software, such as FedEx's customs clearance system * Knowledge of international trade laws and regulations, including the Harmonized System (HS) and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) * Certification in customs brokerage or international trade, such as the Certified Customs Broker (CCB) or the Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) * Fluency in multiple languages, including Spanish, French, or other languages commonly used in international trade **Benefits and Compensation:** As a remote employee of blithequark, you will enjoy a competitive salary, ranging from $20 to $30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
