**Experienced Cyber Threat Analyst – Web & Cloud Application Security Specialist**

Our team of experts is dedicated to helping organizations like yours stay one step ahead of cyber threats, and we're looking for talented individuals like you to join our ranks. **Job Summary** As a Cyber Threat Analyst, you will be working closely with our clients, including the Department of Defense, to identify patterns and anomalies, contextualize digital threats, and provide strategic, operational, and tactical insights to inform decision-making. You will be part of a dynamic team that supports incident response, threat hunting, and vulnerability management activities, and will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from threat intelligence to security architecture. **Key Responsibilities** * Use organization and end-user devices to identify and analyze potential breaches or threat activity * Conduct threat intelligence research to stay up-to-date on the latest threat trends and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) * Collaborate with the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective countermeasures to mitigate threats * Develop and deliver threat-driven reports using government intelligence sources and Mandiant's expertise in threat actor profiles, motivations, capabilities, and objectives * Design and implement predictive analytics to identify emerging threats and anticipate potential attack vectors * Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses * Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors * Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies, trends, and best practices **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field * 3+ years of experience in threat analysis, incident response, or a related field * Experience with network engineering, digital protection, and security testing * Dynamic U.S. Government Top Secret/Delicate Compartmentalized Data (TS/SCI) Exceptional status * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, partners, and stakeholders **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working with business intelligence sources, such as web scraping, DNS, and malware repositories * Experience with Big Data security controls and Incident Response Activities * Knowledge of security architectures, including Linux and network design, implementation, and setup * Experience with threat intelligence platforms, such as threat feeds and threat intelligence tools * Familiarity with security frameworks, such as NIST and ISO 27001 * Experience with cloud security, including AWS and Azure **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, partners, and stakeholders * Strong technical skills, including proficiency in programming languages, such as Python and C++ * Experience with security tools, such as threat intelligence platforms, vulnerability scanners, and penetration testing tools * Strong understanding of security frameworks, including NIST and ISO 27001 * Experience with cloud security, including AWS and Azure **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At Mandiant, we believe in investing in our employees and providing opportunities for growth and development.
