Job Overview In this critical role, you will be responsible for supporting the paid media examination capability to surface data-driven key opportunities for the Executive Leadership group, focusing on optimization of paid media spend worldwide. You will work closely with marketing teams to identify ways to improve the efficiencies of paid media spend and develop reporting and analyses to inform and drive decisions. As a key member of the team, you will play a central role in supporting strategic navigation by creating and communicating custom-tailored reporting and analyses that will illuminate the paid media strategy. Key Responsibilities Deliver reporting and insights in the space of paid media to drive business growth and optimization Design and build/lead the development of analysis, BI, and data science expectations aimed at enhancing visible paid media and improving marketing efficiencies Collaborate with paid media data science teams and marketing teams on implementing media mix models Lead ad-hoc analysis through database querying, followed by rapid interpretation of results and the definition and communication of recommendations that drive action Act as a partner with marketing, finance, and data product teams to tackle business challenges, and track marketing and product performance with a data-driven approach Leverage Structured Query Language (SQL), MicroStrategy, Tableau, Excel, and other reporting tools to create and maintain scheduled and Adhoc reports Analyze data to identify business issues and lead deep dives to perform root cause analysis Collaborate with stakeholders to leverage data (internal data from arenaflex, as well as external data from market research and marketing firms) and address complex business challenges by delivering meaningful insights Conceptualize and run analysis that generates insights on customer behavior and customer needs to help further develop and improve the incentive Essential Qualifications Experience in the area of Business Intelligence, Analysis, or Consulting in an e-commerce environment or related field Advanced SQL experience Advanced experience with at least one industry analysis and metrics visualization tools (e.g., Tableau/QuickSight/PowerBI) Master in Excel with a proven track record Degree in data science, business, economics, information technology, statistics, mathematics, or other related field Preferred Qualifications You enjoy working in a team of highly engaged individuals You have a passion for numbers, data, and statistics, but also for delivering high-quality analysis Strong inclination for action, highly organized, and ability to complete tasks and projects with minimal direction and tight deadlines Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate with both business leadership and technical teams effectively Experience with subscription-based or media content organizations Experience with and/or interest to learn more about state-of-the-art data science approaches Programming languages: knowledge of Python Knowledge of other programming languages, such as Java or C#, or of statistical programming languages like R or SAS Knowledge of Adobe Analytics Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
