Key Responsibilities Drive complex data integration projects that bring together data from disparate sources to make it accessible to business stakeholders, including data scientists, analysts, and insights users. Lead informal teams to apply advanced data integration methodologies and tools to large datasets to create solutions that can be used in descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. Communicate with business leaders across multiple and simultaneous projects to drive definition and communication of solutions and decisions. Serve as a subject matter expert for data assets and monitor the ongoing effectiveness of data assets being used by business stakeholders in self-service environments. Support the ongoing development of the blithequark data science center and community. Perform other job duties as directed by management. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Intermediate knowledge of both inductive and deductive reasoning and problem-solving approaches. Transitional knowledge in evaluating and applying suitable data analysis and statistical methods for a business problem. Transitional knowledge in acquiring and consuming data in both relational and non-SQL databases. Basic knowledge in integrating, storing, and processing large amounts of data necessary for analysis and modeling. Proficiency in at least one data programming language and open-source tools. Proficiency in at least one data integration and business intelligence tool. Proficiency in technology platforms and models relevant to creating and maintaining self-service data assets. Strong critical thinking and project management skills. Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences through written and verbal communication. Ability to adapt to different situations and change approaches/philosophy if necessary to actually and effectively meet goals. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Advanced degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science. Experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis and modeling. Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques.
