Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Data Analyst to join our team at arenaflex. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and improvement by analyzing complex data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including record groups and contracting, to identify and isolate changes resulting from over/under payment practices and incorporate these into actual-to-expected results. Aid in the development and implementation of innovative data visualization techniques to ensure that data is communicated in a meaningful and interpretive manner to all audience levels. Assist in the development and execution of creative analytical and statistical methodologies and supporting tools for evaluating organization processes, business issues, or return on investment of products and services. Team up with internal and external stakeholders to advance the development of convenient, imaginative, objective analysis that leads to truth-based solutions for key business issues. Develop and maintain a automated process to identify data and process integrity issues, providing detailed recommendations for issue resolution and communicating with affected parties. Prepare standard and ad-hoc management reports and presentations for projects, utilizing inquiry-based tools to create and run queries for data mining and analysis. Perform specific tasks identified in the compliance monitoring system, including assessment of definitions, cost increase maintenance, and organization ID. Provide customer support to internal and external clients, ensuring quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction. Collaborate with peers in Sales, Finance, Regulatory, Contract Development, and Contract Operations to drive business success. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems. Experience collaborating with internal and external resources to aid in the development of procedures and project designs that meet division objectives within budget and established timelines. Experience establishing and maintaining key relationships with internal (peers, colleagues, and leadership) and external (business community, clients, and vendors) stakeholders to ensure quality standards for service. Experience creating approaches to achieve objectives with minimal supervision, relying on oneself to resolve issues and determine when escalation is necessary. Experience utilizing time management skills, such as prioritizing/coordinating and following details, to meet deadlines and fulfill multiple project requirements. Experience diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues, recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems. Experience analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions, driving improvement of results and finding solutions. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, including data visualization, reporting, and analysis. Able to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state). Preferred Qualifications Graduate degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems. Four-year degree in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems. Knowledge of advanced coding languages (e.g., SAS, SQL, C++, etc.). Experience with system administration (e.g., Masters, Vendavo, Vistaar, Salesforce.com, SharePoint, Wikis, etc.). Experience with business intelligence tools in support of data analysis (e.g., Business Objects, Cognos, Tableau, Masters, etc.). Experience with learn instructing, coaching, and training staff. Knowledge of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Benefit Manager, Benefit Consultancy, or Managed Care organization. Experience working with pharmacy data at a retail pharmacy, Pharmacy Benefit Manager, benefit consultancy, or managed care organization. Knowledge of drug industry pricing. Experience with project management (e.g., planning, coordinating, and managing resources to achieve the successful completion of specific project objectives and goals). Knowledge of systems like Cure and GIS. Experience with data extraction, data mining, data acquiring, data profiling, and data warehouse management. Experience in a data warehouse/business intelligence/decision support systems environment or IT experience. Knowledge of statistical concepts and data mining techniques.
