Your impact will be felt in three significant areas: empowering new data products by providing accurate information, improving product efficiency by focusing on data development to reduce costs, and ensuring the safety and security of our data to help our customers succeed. **Key Responsibilities** * Research, gather, and analyze customer data, transforming raw insights into meaningful experiences. * Collaborate with business and product partners to tackle complex business challenges and identify patterns and potential opportunities. * Apply your skills in quantitative analysis, data mining, and data visualization to uncover hidden trends and provide actionable insights. * Define and assess key performance metrics for new product launches. * Create data visualizations to monitor and measure the impact of product drives and special business challenges. * Identify new opportunities to improve key financial metrics, understanding underlying drivers for change in metrics. * Conduct exploratory data analysis, including hypothesis testing, statistical inference, and statistical analysis. * Work closely with data stewards and data engineering teams to collect and handle accurate data from various sources. * Collaborate effectively across functions and communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders. **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Finance, Research, Math, Arts, or related field. * 2 years of experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field. **Preferred Qualifications** * Master's degree in Business, Software Engineering, Engineering, Statistics, Finance, Research, Math, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field. * Related industry experience (e.g., retail, marketing, healthcare, e-commerce). * Effective completion of courses in data analysis and business intelligence tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Power BI, or Tableau). **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make logical, data-driven recommendations and solutions. * Experience with languages used to control data and extract insights from large datasets (SQL, Python, Presto, etc.). * Strong storytelling experience with data visualizations in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc. * Experience with data quality tools like Google DataPlex (Collibra Data Quality or SAS Data Management or IBM InfoSphere Data Server). * Experience with quality testing using Selenium, Cucumber, or Tosca. * Experience in building multi-step ETL jobs/data pipelines and working with workflow management systems. * Experience working with complex data on cloud platforms (ideally Google Bigquery and Hive). * Experience with data visualization (E-R) and strong BI concepts. * Fundamental understanding of statistics and AI models. * Related knowledge in the retail or finance industry spaces. * Strong, persuasive oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** * arenaflex offers a comprehensive training program to help you develop your skills and advance your career. * Opportunities to work on high-impact projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams. * Collaborative and dynamic work environment with a diverse group of professionals. * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options. * Opportunities for professional growth and development, including mentorship and coaching. **Work Environment and Company Culture** * arenaflex is an Equal Opportunity Employer – By Decision.
