About the Job and Group The Endorser Lifecycle Investigation group at blithequark is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to assist with estimating, comprehending, and making informed decisions to moderate supporter churn across a growing ecosystem of blithequark's online feature contributions. As a Data Analyst, you will be part of a team that specializes in exploratory data analysis, modern reporting, data perception, and storytelling to deliver meaningful insights and provide recommendations to drive business direction. This group collaborates with teams across the Direct to Consumer association as well as partners from specialty units across blithequark to create insightful, compelling, and strategic analyses that make an impact. Key Responsibilities Translate complex business questions into SQL, including precise cohorting, calculations, filtering criteria, and aggregations Communicate complex trends and churn drivers to a wide range of stakeholders with varying technical expertise, from functional groups to executive audiences, both in oral presentations and written reports Engage with other Analysis groups to analyze retention performance of key business initiatives across content, engagement, and marketing areas Build and maintain operational dashboards in Tableau and Looker to grasp performance over time, enable effective exploratory analysis, and provide partners with self-serve tools Partner closely with business stakeholders (Product, Business Operations, Finance, Marketing, etc.) to identify and unlock opportunities for improved subscriber retention Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Analysis, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Marketing, or a related field At least 3 years of Data Analysis experience Advanced analytical skills with the ability to apply business acumen to data analysis and recommendations Ability to think strategically, analyze and interpret first and third-party data Experience manipulating large datasets and interpreting data patterns using a variety of different data sources and tools Experience with data analysis and data visualization tools like Tableau or Looker Strong technical and scientific skills to handle problems, analyze the cause, quickly devise potential solutions, detail the changes, and communicate business impact Evident experience with specifying data requirements, data architecture, data rules (normalization, cleansing, and validation) Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience in the streaming media industry or supporting a direct-to-consumer or subscription-based product Experience presenting and contributing to data stories that are communicated to key stakeholders Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
