Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating empathy and care in all interactions, and proactively resolving potential issues Focus on the customer by offering a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining communication, and providing assistance with finding additional items when required Accurately perform data entry tasks, including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision while following company policies and procedures Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in merchandise, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks as directed by senior management Support opening and closing store activities, as required Provide customer care to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring departments are fully stocked and operational while staying current with all updated services and tools Assist pharmacy staff as required, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of opportunities for growth and career development Embrace and advocate for new blithequark services and loyalty programs that support our mission of helping people on their path to better health Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Ability to stand for sustained periods, lift and apply up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects to and from, including above lifting Visual acuity - having close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a workstation, reading, visual inspection including small parts/details Preferred Qualifications Past experience in a retail or customer service setting High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should be highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask with ease. Proficiency in data entry software and systems is also essential, as well as a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
