About the Content Operations & Innovation Team The Content Operations & Innovation team at Netflix helps content to delight members with efficient operational workflows and execution while leveraging our scale and innovating to deliver more value on screen. Within this organization, we are looking to host an intern on the Netfx team during Summer 2024. Netfx is a growing go-functional visual effects (VFX) initiative built on Netflix's innovative platform that optimizes the pairing of skills to responsibilities to execute a high volume of global work. Job Summary As a Data Entry and Live Chat Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in facilitating departmental needs and will participate in a program that offers training and development intended to provide you with the skill set necessary to become a strong candidate for future entry-level positions in business analytics, agnostic of domain. You will conduct comprehensive analysis of current digital marketplaces, study and analyze industry trends and competitive landscapes for global marketplaces, and provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to aid strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluation of current digital marketplaces and provide recommendations for improvement Study and analyze industry trends and competitive landscapes for global marketplaces Offer insights and hints based on marketplace analysis to aid strategic decision-making Collaborate with senior team members to plot and refine competitive pricing strategies Assist in developing financial models to evaluate business performance and assess capacity situations Contribute to forecasting and budgeting procedures to support financial planning efforts Collaborate with teams across departments to identify business needs and opportunities Participate in meetings and presentations to share findings and recommendations Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: An interest in working in the film industry and global marketplace analysis Basic knowledge of computers and familiarity with software programs including Google Suite (e.g. Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel) Collaborative and able to work in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated and able to take initiative to work independently Attention to detail and practices good judgment Curious about learning new technology and workflows Able to maintain confidentiality and utmost discretion when being privy to sensitive information Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in data entry, live chat support, or a related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a remote environment and manage time effectively Career Growth and Development Opportunities At Netflix, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
