Job Overview This is a fully remote, six-month contract position that offers a competitive hourly rate of $23 to $25 on W2. As a Data Entry and Management Specialist at blithequark, you will play a critical role in configuring database tables, coordinating with internal departments, and analyzing user requirements to determine database customization strategies. You will also be responsible for conducting quality assurance tests, identifying data trends and issues, and recommending effective solutions. If you have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Configure database tables in support of restaurant point of sale (pricing, menu) and back office systems (inventory) Coordinate with internal departments such as Operations, Franchise, Finance, Marketing, and R&D to determine timeline and in-store data requirements Analyze user requirements to determine database customization strategy and order entry flow Conduct quality assurance tests on database changes to ensure user requirements are met prior to submission to restaurants Identify data trends or issues and recommend effective solutions relating to restaurant systems Communicate with restaurant operators to provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues that may arise Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports, and perform data entry tasks as needed Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A college degree (or equivalent) with up to one year of experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field Conceptual knowledge of theories, principles, and practices within the discipline and industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build stable internal working relationships and communicate effectively with restaurant operators Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify data trends and issues and recommend effective solutions Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with minimal supervision, and to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience working in a remote or virtual team environment Experience with database management and configuration Knowledge of restaurant point of sale and back office systems Experience with quality assurance testing and data analysis Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management software Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify data trends and issues and recommend effective solutions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build stable internal working relationships and communicate effectively with restaurant operators Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with minimal supervision, and to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and processes Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management software Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
