Job Overview As a Data Entry Assistant at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of our databases. Your primary responsibility will be to collect, capture, and update data from various sources, including employees, customers, and other departments. You will work closely with our team to identify and correct errors, organize information, and optimize data storage and retrieval processes. Key Responsibilities Gathering invoices, statements, reports, personal details, documents, and information from employees, other departments, and clients Scanning through information to identify pertinent data and correcting errors Organizing information in a manner that optimizes swift and accurate data capturing Creating accurate spreadsheets and entering and updating information into relevant databases Ensuring data is backed up and informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered Storing hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval Handling additional duties from time to time, as required Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: High school diploma or equivalent At least 1+ years of experience in a relevant field, such as data entry, administration, or customer service Good command of English, both written and verbal Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new software and systems Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, customers, and other stakeholders Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed Proficient touch-typing skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable: Experience working with databases and data management systems Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools, such as SQL or Tableau Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve errors and discrepancies Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to supporting the career growth and development of our employees.
