Job Summary We are looking for a focused and diligent Data Entry Clerk to continuously update our databases with accurate and timely information. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collecting information from employees and customers, capturing data into relevant databases, and identifying and correcting errors. Key Responsibilities Collect information from employees and customers to update databases in a timely and accurate manner Capture data into relevant databases, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail Identify and correct errors, and swiftly bring them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary Perform data entry in EMR and other systems as required Prepare information for data entry, ensuring all necessary documents and records are up-to-date Provide entry-level administrative support to the data entry function, including performing routine clerical tasks Perform high-volume data entry work, maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment Perform data entry of new applications, credits, and other relevant information Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and established protocols Train new data entry employees on computer systems and procedures as required Ensure timely data entry and file management, maintaining organized and accurate records Operate data entry devices to perform a variety of keypunching, data entry, and verification duties Review and verify data prior to entry, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail Perform daily audits and data entry corrections, identifying and addressing any errors or discrepancies Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field, with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and customers Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a high-volume data entry setting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and correct errors Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to self-motivate and work independently Knowledge of EMR systems and other data entry software Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business administration or computer science Certification in data entry or a related field, such as Certified Data Entry Specialist (CDES) Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and competencies: Attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong focus on quality and precision Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and customers Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a high-volume data entry setting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and correct errors Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
