Key Responsibilities Capture data into relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that our business databases are current and reflect the latest developments, updates, and transactions. Liaise with employees within blithequark and with customers to collect information, providing excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Perform data entry in various systems, including EMR, and prepare information for data entry to ensure seamless processing. Provide entry-level administrative support to the data entry function, including performing routine clerical and data entry functions. Perform high-volume data entry work, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail, and operate data entry devices to perform keypunching, data entry, and verification duties. Review and verify data prior to entry, ensuring that all information is accurate and complete, and perform daily audits and data entry corrections as needed. Train new data entry employees on computer systems and procedures, providing guidance and support to ensure a smooth onboarding process. Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques, and ensure timely data entry and file management to meet business needs. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications: Basic computer skills and knowledge of data entry software and systems, including EMR. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and customers. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain focus and concentration in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability. Basic math skills and ability to perform calculations and data analysis. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Previous experience in data entry or a related field, with a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency. Knowledge of data entry devices and software, including keypunching and verification systems. Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively. Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business administration or computer science. Certification in data entry or a related field, such as Certified Data Entry Specialist (CDES).
