Key Responsibilities As a Data Entry Operator, your duties will include, but are not limited to: Collecting and entering data into databases with high accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring that all information is current and reliable. Organizing information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry, utilizing your strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Performing research to find further information as needed, demonstrating your ability to work independently and think critically. Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities, and checking output to ensure that all data is accurate and complete. Utilizing appropriate data solutions, techniques, and procedures to optimize data entry activities, staying up-to-date with the latest data management software and technologies. Preparing reports, storing completed work in designated locations, and performing backup operations to ensure that all data is secure and easily accessible. Performing scanning and printing of documents as required, maintaining the proper usage of office equipment and reporting any problems or issues. Responding to queries for information and accessing relevant files, providing excellent customer service and support to colleagues and stakeholders. Ensuring adherence to corporate policies of data integrity and security, maintaining the confidentiality of corporate information and handling sensitive data with discretion. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 2+ years of experience working as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk, with a strong background in administrative duties and office equipment usage. Solid experience with MS Office and data management software, including spreadsheets and online forms. Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation, with strong attention to detail and accuracy. High typing speed and accuracy, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organization skills, good responsibility, and confidentiality, with the ability to maintain the security and integrity of corporate data. High school diploma, with additional computer training or certification considered an asset. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are preferred: Experience working with database management software and systems, with a strong understanding of data analysis and reporting principles. Knowledge of data security and integrity protocols, with experience working in a secure and confidential environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and provide support to colleagues and stakeholders. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines, and to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
