Job Overview The Data Entry Specialist position is a key component of our data management team, responsible for collecting, entering, and maintaining information on our corporate databases and computer systems. As a successful candidate, you will possess excellent data entry skills, including fast typing, attention to detail, and good familiarity with spreadsheets and online forms. You will be an integral part of our team, working collaboratively to ensure the integrity and security of our corporate information. Key Responsibilities Perform input of customer and account data from source documents, in text-based and numerical information form, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail Organize information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry, utilizing strong organizational skills and attention to deadlines Conduct research to find further information as needed, demonstrating resourcefulness and problem-solving skills Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and check output to ensure data quality and integrity Utilize appropriate data solutions, techniques, and procedures to optimize data entry activities, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies Prepare reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations to ensure data security and recovery Perform scanning and printing of documents, maintaining the proper usage of office equipment and reporting any problems or issues Respond to queries for information and access relevant files, providing excellent customer service and support to internal stakeholders Ensure adherence to corporate policies of data integrity and security, maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will possess the following essential qualifications and skills: 2+ years of experience working as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk, with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail Solid experience with administrative duties, office equipment usage, and data management software, including MS Office and other relevant tools Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation, with strong written and verbal communication skills Accuracy, high typing speed, and close attention to detail, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong organization skills, good responsibility, and confidentiality, with the ability to maintain sensitive information and handle multiple priorities High school diploma, with additional computer training or certification considered an asset Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are preferred: Experience with data analysis and reporting, with the ability to identify trends and insights from data Familiarity with database management systems and data visualization tools, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and resolve problems efficiently Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to respond to queries and provide support to internal stakeholders Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
