About the Role: Shaping the Future of Disney's Guest Experiences This remote opportunity allows you to be an integral part of the Disney family from the comfort of your own home. As a Key Information Researcher, you'll work closely with our Attractions Functional Innovation team to drive the creation, establishment, and support of data analysis and ML models that elevate our guest experiences. With no prior experience necessary, we're looking for individuals with a passion for customer service and a love for all things Disney! Key Responsibilities: Driving Innovation and Excellence Collaborative Leadership: Foster strong relationships with colleagues, provide thought leadership, and drive projects to successful completion. Innovative Problem-Solving: Engage in research, identify business problems, and develop creative ML solutions to tackle them. Technical Expertise: Lead and work with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and scale ML solutions that create enchanting experiences for our guests. Innovation and Development: Drive proof-of-concepts, technology cash drives, and customer interactions that advance our AI platforms. Operational Excellence: Manage functional support and maintenance of ML-related products and services. Process Optimization: Develop standard procedures, collaborate with specialty units, and execute large-scale projects in the AI space. Technical Implementation: Productionize ML algorithms, evaluate their performance on real-world datasets, and coordinate with existing software practices. Required Capabilities and Abilities: The Skills that Matter Python and Predictive Modeling: 2+ years of experience in Python and predictive modeling using frameworks like TensorFlow, SparkMLib, PySpark, Light, MXNet, etc. Cloud Platforms: 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms like AWS and GCP. SDLC and QA: Proficiency in SDLC, QA cycles, and Object-Oriented Programming Design Patterns. Data Management: Master-level experience with structured and unstructured data, SQL relational and non-relational databases. Data Workflow Management: 2+ years of experience with Workflow or another data workflow management instrument. Version Control: Experience with amendment control programming like GitHub and GitLab, Model Operations, and CI/CD pipelines. Business Acumen: Ability to drive discovery processes, identify business requirements, and communicate effectively. Technical Architecture: Strong systems coordination engineering abilities, with a knack for turning new tech into business solutions. Preferred Capabilities: The Skills that Set You Apart Containerization: Experience with Docker. Control Systems: Experience with control frameworks. Kubernetes: Experience with Kubernetes. Cloud Solutions: Experience with cloud arrangements in GCP or another cloud stage. Atlassian Tools: Experience with Atlassian Instruments like Jira and Confluence. Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile advancement techniques. Automated Testing: Experience with mechanized testing, consistent coordination, and ceaseless turn of events. Data Visualization: Experience with information representation and information checking instruments like Splunk, Plotly, Scene. Audio and Text Analysis: Experience with sound examination and text examination. Education and Background: The Foundation for Success We're looking for individuals with a strong educational background in: Master's Degree: Bosses of Science in Information Science, Measurements, Programming, PC Designing, Software engineering, or comparable specialized foundation. Ph.D.: A Ph.D. in Information Science, Measurements, Programming, PC Designing, Software engineering, or comparable specialized foundation is highly preferred.
