You'll be responsible for analyzing and mitigating risks, developing and implementing data protection policies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills. **Key Responsibilities:** * Analyze and mitigate risks related to data protection and privacy * Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations * Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement * Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration * Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data protection and privacy **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field * 3+ years of experience in a STEM-related field, with a focus on data protection and privacy * Understanding of data protection and privacy requirements and policies, including local, national, and international regulations * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams * Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship **Preferred Qualifications:** * CISA certification * Knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols, and network security * Knowledge of security engineering and architecture principles * Knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic key control principles * Experience with data protection and privacy vendors, tools, and products * Ability to interpret noncompliance and determine its impact on risk and/or average effectiveness of the company's cybersecurity program **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary of $26/hour * Comprehensive benefits package, including employee-run "Business Resource Group" groups, world-class benefits like parental leave and 401k, and privileges like the ability to travel the world * Opportunity to work with a global team of innovators who are changing the face of aviation * Collaborative and inclusive work environment that values diversity and inclusion * Professional development opportunities to help you grow and succeed in your career **How to Apply:** If you're a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for data protection and privacy, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
