Key Responsibilities Design and develop web applications that provide insights into business performance and growth initiatives, using data visualization and front-end best practices. Collaborate with data teams and business stakeholders to integrate multiple data sources and present actionable insights. Take ownership of projects and work independently, embracing our culture of Freedom and Responsibility. Develop and maintain large-scale data visualization applications, using technologies such as JavaScript, Node.js, and React or Vue. Work closely with colleagues in Data Science and Engineering, as well as stakeholders at all levels and across our global locations. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience building web applications and interactive visualizations, with a focus on data analysis and interpretation. Strong knowledge of front-end JavaScript, Node.js, and data visualization libraries such as D3.js. Experience working with data from various sources, including API endpoints and social databases. Excellent design skills, with a strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a strong focus on user experience and customer feedback. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a corporate setting, or in journalism or academia. Strong motivation to explore new technologies and learn independently. Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git. Knowledge of data visualization tools and technologies, such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
