About the Role We are seeking an experienced and skilled Digital Campaign Manager to join our client services team in Milan, Italy. As a key member of our advertising sales and operations association, you will play a crucial role in leading a Digital Campaigns Client Service manager to design and execute the functional components of our advertising campaigns. Your expertise will span pre-sale guidance, media planning, campaign setup, analysis, optimization, reporting, and invoicing, covering all forms of advertising activity across our digital properties, with a particular focus on video advertising, including our flagship product, Disney+, as well as additional digital assets such as websites, apps, and social platforms. Key Responsibilities Lead a Digital Campaigns Client Service manager in supporting assigned sales representatives and related clients through all stages of the campaign lifecycle, from planning to invoicing Deliver effective media plans that maximize revenue and drive client satisfaction Allocate team responsibilities while contributing to and assisting in campaign management, including stock gauging, media plan creation, order entry, negotiation, optimization, reporting, and invoicing Ensure the Account Manager is fully trained on campaign execution and able to address all related questions Act as the primary point of contact for any escalations on complex challenges or requests regarding inventory, ad products, or campaigns Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Accounting in revenue tracking and analysis Investigate and resolve ad delivery, ad quality, and technical issues, liaising with global Ad Platforms support Evaluate potential ad tech vendor integrations and provide input on contract negotiations Ideate, implement, review, and enhance operational processes that drive quality and efficiency Analyze utilization and performance of digital inventory to develop strategies and products that maximize revenue yield Mentor, train, and develop talent, including onboarding new hires Create and update internal documentation to clarify processes and best practices Work closely with regional teams and act as a local center of excellence for other offices across EMEA Maintain up-to-date knowledge of blithequark's ad tech stack and ecosystem, and stay informed about industry developments and trends Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will have: A graduate degree or equivalent experience 3+ years of overall experience in the advertising industry, either publisher/agency side or in ad tech Team management experience, with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams Expertise in defining and advancing processes, with a focus on operational efficiency and excellence Proficiency in negotiating, planning, and managing ad campaigns for display and video across websites, apps, social platforms, and connected TV environments Demonstrated ability in activating campaigns, creating accurate and relevant insights, and optimizing performance Solid understanding of programmatic advertising, the technologies that power it, and key vendors in the space Familiarity with general data security and privacy requirements related to digital advertising Ability to represent the organization in external meetings and events Experience with media or entertainment brands is desirable, as is knowledge of the processes and procedures of a global corporation Essential skills in using and promoting ad management systems (e.g., Google Ad Manager), ad server systems (e.g., DV360), and management of Creative Labels and Tracking to support and lead the assigned team Knowledge of Massive activation for digital campaigns and related requirements Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, we prefer candidates with: 5+ years of experience in the advertising industry, with a focus on digital campaign management and client services Advanced knowledge of ad tech platforms, including Google Ad Manager, DV360, and other industry-leading tools Experience working with global teams and managing campaigns across multiple regions Strong understanding of the digital media landscape, including trends, challenges, and opportunities Proven track record of driving revenue growth and improving client satisfaction through innovative campaign management and client services strategies Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will possess: Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex challenges and develop creative solutions Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously Scientific approach to campaign management, with the ability to assess, evaluate, and plan based on data-driven insights Ability to step back and view situations at a macro level, tackling immediate challenges while providing long-term solutions Natural leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to foster a positive, inclusive culture and develop high-performing teams Driven to deliver exceptional results, with a focus on client satisfaction, revenue growth, and operational excellence Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent the team and organization internally and externally Strong IT skills, with proficiency in core business applications and remote working tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, Zoom) Career Growth and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
