We are a dynamic and fast-paced organization that is constantly evolving, and we are looking for talented leaders like you to help us shape the future of our company. **Key Responsibilities** As a Director of Account Development and Client Management, you will be responsible for leading a team of 5 senior client managers and overseeing a portfolio of merchant relationships with companies headquartered across Southern California. Your key responsibilities will include: * Leading a team of 5 senior client managers and helping them manage, deepen, and improve relationships with 400+ respected brands * Developing, leading, and motivating a top-performing team to retain and drive incremental business (B2B and B2C) by growing revenue and improving share * Cultivating a culture of learning, strong challenger coaching skills, and consultative relationship management * Leading your team in maintaining and strengthening blithequark's business by showcasing value, growing revenue, improving share, and increasing profitability * Embracing the fast-changing payments landscape and keeping current with payment trends and economic/competitive indicators * Partnering with internal colleagues to seek out and develop partnership and marketing assets that will be relevant to your customer base * Modeling key sales behaviors/skills and balancing deal and skill coaching * Increasing Merchant Satisfaction and maximizing profits with an enterprise approach **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need to have: * 10+ years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of success in managing high-performing teams and driving business growth * A deep understanding of the payments industry and the ability to stay current with payment trends and economic/competitive indicators * Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of senior client managers * Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of colleagues and clients * A strong understanding of sales behaviors and skills, with the ability to model and coach key sales behaviors **Preferred Qualifications** While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable: * Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * A strong understanding of the Southern California market and the ability to build relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the region * Experience working with a diverse range of clients, including B2B and B2C companies * A strong understanding of the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and a commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all employees **Skills and Competencies** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of senior client managers * Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of colleagues and clients * Strong sales behaviors and skills, with the ability to model and coach key sales behaviors * A strong understanding of the payments industry and the ability to stay current with payment trends and economic/competitive indicators * A strong understanding of the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and a commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all employees **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
