Job Overview The Director of Data Analytics will be responsible for coordinating a predefined area of work within the organization to achieve business objectives and designated financial and quality outcomes. This role will have a significant impact on the organization's short-term and long-term results, affecting explicit clients and stakeholders. The successful candidate will be expected to make decisions that fundamentally affect the organization, ensuring process and structural fit with key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Build conventional structures and techniques for approaching major strategic issues, utilizing existing resources and creating new innovative ideas across the organization. Ensure process and structural fit with key stakeholders, proceeding as a point of contact for cross-functional teams and partners in developing and executing strategies. Develop effective working relationships with stakeholders to accomplish designated objectives and arrangements, guiding key stakeholders on subject matters and partnering cross-functionally to interpret and define business needs. Grow short-and long-range strategies, plans, and significant objectives, administering the execution of strategies, cycles, and arrangements that have a critical effect upon the organization. Make suggestions for the development of the strategies and working plans of the predetermined area of responsibility, then execute or change the working plans of the specialty unit coordinated. Share complex data connected with subject matters, communicating with senior management to stay informed about targets and engaging with direct reports and peers in management/clients/vendors to interpret data and improve cross-functional cycles and projects. Build and enhance key internal and external contacts, working with outside vendors and third parties to create and maintain positive relationships. Set financial, operational, and quality goals, creating and supervising working designs for the area of responsibility, ensuring development and improvement of customer awareness, market share, and determined drives. Essential Qualifications The successful candidate will have: At least 2 years of experience establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with internal (peers, colleagues, and leadership) and external (business community, clients, and vendors) stakeholders within a network organization to develop strategies that meet division objectives within budget and timelines. Experience creating strategic drives that align with business objectives and budget, identifying operational issues, and prescribing and executing strategies to resolve issues. Experience leading cross-functional teams, communicating at the executive level, and managing client-facing programs. At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace, with direct management, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team leadership experience. Ability to travel up to 15% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state). Preferred Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: A graduate degree/MBA, with experience in advanced coding languages (e.g., SAS, SQL, C++, etc.) and system administration (e.g., Masters, Vendavo, Vistaar, Salesforce.com, SharePoint, Wikis, etc.). Experience using business intelligence tools in support of data analysis (e.g., Business Objects, Cognos, Tableau, Masters, etc.), with certification as a Salesforce administrator or developer. Experience in training, coaching, and training less senior colleagues, with expertise in designing and executing financial models in support of complex business drives. Experience communicating with executive-level leadership both within and to client organizations, with project management experience (e.g., planning, organizing, and managing resources to achieve the successful completion of specific project objectives and targets). Experience with systems such as Cure and GIS, with knowledge of data extraction, data mining, data acquisition, data profiling, data warehouse management, and statistical concepts.
