About the Role: Distribution Customer Service Representative As a Distribution Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for handling a high volume of customer inquiries about product availability, pricing, and shipping. You will also process orders, forms, applications, and requests, and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our products and services to provide accurate information to customers. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build and maintain trust with our customers, and your strong problem-solving skills will allow you to resolve customer complaints in a professional and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities: Handling a high volume of customer inquiries about product availability, pricing, and shipping Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of our products and services to provide accurate information to customers Resolving customer complaints in a professional and efficient manner Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process Ensuring customer satisfaction and providing professional customer support Tracking shipments using various courier systems (UPS, FedEx) and resolving any issues that arise Assisting in the preparation of sales reports and data analysis Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: A minimum of 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a distribution or logistics environment Strong knowledge of the distribution industry, including shipping, tracking, and bills of lading Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction Proficient in data entry and good working knowledge of relevant software (MS Office, in particular) Experience with UPS and FedEx systems is a plus Strong understanding of sales and pricing strategies High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an e-commerce or logistics environment Knowledge of inventory management systems and practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent time management and organizational skills Career Growth and Development Opportunities At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
