You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, adapting to different learning styles, and encouraging students to excel beyond expectations. Our ideal candidate is an experienced tutor and/or teacher who is passionate about education and committed to making a difference in the lives of our students. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide high-quality, one-on-one tutoring services to students in grades K-5, focusing on elementary math skills, entry-level geometry, pre-algebra, and homework prep. * Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each student. * Adapt to different learning styles and abilities, ensuring that each student receives personalized attention and support. * Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular session reports to our office and families within 24 hours of each tutoring session. * Effectively balance tutoring hours given for each assigned student, ensuring that each student receives the support they need to succeed. * Provide excellent customer service, responding to existing clients' concerns, questions, and requests in a professional and timely manner. * Follow up with our office when a student's enrollment package is low on hours, ensuring that each student receives the support they need to succeed. **Minimum Qualifications** * Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field and industry preferred. * Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring/teaching in specialized education fields preferred. * Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are a plus but not a requirement. * Experience with basic database/data entry. * Ability to prepare accordingly for each tutoring session (lesson plan). * Having a personality that is suited for different types of students. * Strong administration skills. * Strong typing, PC, and recording skills. * Having reliable transportation with current car insurance. * Access to the internet, a computer, and a smartphone. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working with students with diverse learning needs and abilities. * Familiarity with educational software and technology. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Experience with lesson planning and curriculum development. **Compensation and Benefits** * Competitive hourly rates based on experience and qualifications. * Opportunities for professional growth and development. * A supportive and inclusive work environment. * Access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities. * A comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. **Work Environment and Company Culture** At arenaflex, we value diversity, equity, and inclusion.
