Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Employee Assistance Program Worklife Customer Support Associate to join our team at blithequark. In this role, you will coordinate Worklife, employee assistance, and management consultant resources, reviewing member needs and communicating information regarding relevant services and resources. You will also administer policies and procedures for the Employee Assistance Program Worklife area, supporting organizational objectives and ensuring the delivery of high-quality support to our members. Key Responsibilities Execute both routine and non-routine business support tasks for the Employee Assistance Program Worklife area under limited supervision, referring deviations from standard practices to managers. Follow area protocols, standards, and policies to provide effective and timely support to members. Answer calls, understand call purpose, complete research to identify potential providers and resources, and enter member information into the appropriate system to initiate the case. Respond to member inquiries about services, requests, and resources for life skills, providing empathetic and supportive guidance. Maintain accurate and complete internal documentation of required information, meeting risk management and regulatory requirements. Takes direction to execute techniques, processes, and responsibilities, ensuring seamless delivery of support services. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: 1+ year of experience with customer service in a call center environment, preferably in a healthcare or social services setting. 1+ year of experience in a social, psychological, or human service field providing client support, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by our members. Basic computer knowledge, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Teams, and other relevant software applications. Preferred qualifications include: 1+ year of experience in behavioral health, with a deep understanding of the complexities and nuances of mental health support. Working knowledge of problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively in response to member needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with members, colleagues, and external partners. Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to display empathy and patience in member-facing conversations, with a strong commitment to delivering compassionate and supportive care. Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as social work, psychology, or healthcare administration. Education and Training A high school diploma or GED is required, with a strong preference for candidates who have completed a degree in a related field.
