Key Responsibilities Data Storage Management: Demonstrate a deep understanding of enterprise data storage environments and manage our storage infrastructure, including NAS, SAN, and DAS environments. Data Backup and Security: Implement and maintain enterprise backup and data security technologies to ensure the integrity and availability of our data. Reporting and Monitoring: Efficiently manage and monitor reporting platforms and software to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot issues. Capacity Planning: Define and implement trending capacity plan strategies based on industry standards and best practices to ensure scalability and reliability. Collaboration and Communication: Liaise and communicate with application, database, server, and other technology teams on architecture and configuration selection to ensure suitable storage technology and design. Documentation and Support: Contribute clear and concise documentation for both routine and non-routine tasks and provide technical support and guidance on complex activities. Code Updates and Security Patching: Perform code updates and security patching to maintain the health and security of storage systems. Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: A minimum of 3 years of experience in data storage or a related field, with an emphasis on networking and storage protocols. Industry knowledge and experience in large-scale SAN design and implementation. Demonstrated expertise in enterprise storage administration, with proficiency in DellEMC, Cisco, and comparable OEMs. A strong understanding of current and emerging data protection technologies. Experience with NAS concepts and protocols (CIFS, NFS, and S3). Knowledge of data synchronization technologies for both SAN and NAS. Operating system administration skills (both Linux and Windows). VMWare concepts and administration. Preferred Qualifications A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science or a related discipline. A combination of education, work experience, and training may be considered.
