Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at arenaflex. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the bookkeeping capabilities connected with the sales and use tax assessment and permit to operate compliance processes. This includes participating in the monthly accounting close cycle, preparing to repeat monthly journal entries, and organizing general ledger account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of general ledger data analysis and the ability to create monthly data files that accommodate the general ledger for the organization's co-source charge compliance supplier. Key Responsibilities Plans and examines pay and financial account statements, consolidated statements, and other accounting statements and reports. Reviews and checks the accuracy of journal entries and accounting orders assigned to different accounts. Applies Sound accounting principles and creates or suggests accounting techniques and procedures. Trains or assigns work to accountants, accounting clerks, and other partners to participate in daily accounting activities. Coordinates accounting matters with different departments, regions, and divisions. Participates in financial reporting. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: A minimum of 2 years of work experience in a related field. A high school diploma or equivalent required; a four-year degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job preferred. Must be eighteen years old or older. Must be legally authorized to work in the US. Preferred Qualifications Preferred candidates will have: 3 years of accounting experience. Proficient high-level knowledge and expertise using Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. Experience with general ledger software like SAP or comparable software. Demonstrated relational skills and ability to work in a team environment. Ability to manage and execute multiple tasks. Solid written and verbal communication skills.
