Key Responsibilities As an Office Clerk/Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for: Entering daily work orders into our systems with accuracy and efficiency Assembling and compiling reports in a timely and organized manner Reconciling reports to ensure data integrity and consistency Performing various clerical duties, including filing, copying, faxing, and other administrative tasks Maintaining excellent communication with various departments and stakeholders Utilizing Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, Outlook, and Word, to perform tasks and generate reports Adapting to industry software and other tools as required Other duties as assigned by management Essential Qualifications and Experience To be successful in this role, you will need: 1 year of experience in data entry, with a typing speed of at least 40 wpm 1 year of experience as an office clerk or in a similar role Excellent organizing and prioritizing skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on delivering high-quality work Good communication skills, both written and verbal Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, is highly preferred Familiarity with industry software and systems is an asset Preferred Skills and Competencies In addition to the essential qualifications, we are looking for candidates with: Experience in a recycling or similar service environment (not required but an asset) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and edit spreadsheets, charts, and reports Familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications, such as Outlook and Word Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Work Environment and Culture At blithequark, we offer a flexible and remote work environment that allows our employees to work from anywhere.
