Job Overview As a Customer Engineer in our Distributed Cloud team, you'll work closely with our sales and pre-sales teams to design, deliver, and support complex distributed cloud solutions for strategic global customers. You'll be the technical expert and trusted advisor, driving conversations on cutting-edge cloud offers and aligning with blithequark's services and delivery team innovation and capabilities. Key Responsibilities Create and execute on new cloud offers, developing business cases, securing executive buy-in, and driving customer adoption and scaling. Serve as a technical advisor and point of contact for strategic customers and accounts with non-standard requests and innovation needs. Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior cross-functional key stakeholders in customer and/or partner organizations to deliver or manage quality technical solutions and services. Collaborate with internal and external developers, users, partners, clients, and stakeholders to strategize solution code development. Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required, acting as a public advocate for blithequark Cloud. Minimum Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: 10 years of experience with cloud-native architecture in a customer-facing or support role. 8 years of experience in system design and proficiency in one programming language (Java, C++, Python, etc.). 3 years of experience using machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) to build solutions. Experience with edge computing, distributed systems, or data center transformation. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with technical stakeholders and executive leaders. Fluent English and Portuguese language skills to interact with local stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems. Knowledge of data and information management, including big data trends and issues within businesses. Experience managing distributed teams on large-scale programs globally. Ability to learn quickly, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.
