As a Customer Engineer at blithequark, you'll be part of a collaborative, customer-centric team that's passionate about delivering exceptional results and making a real impact. **Job Summary** As a Customer Engineer, you'll work closely with our Business Group to onboard and support clients, develop innovative cloud solutions, and drive business growth through technical account management. You'll be responsible for identifying and qualifying business opportunities, resolving technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. If you're a seasoned professional with a passion for cloud technology and customer success, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Key Responsibilities** * Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, recognize client technical complaints, and develop a plan to resolve technical blockers * Manage the technical relationship with Google clients, including product briefings, proof-of-concept work, and coordination of additional technical resources * Collaborate with clients to demonstrate and model Google Cloud product mixes in client or partner environments * Develop and recommend migration strategies, project models, migration tools, and cloud infrastructure to execute a comprehensive solution using Google Cloud * Attend client sites, meetings, and other related events as needed * Test and motivate clients and partners to tackle issues with solutions using a range of technical capabilities **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field * 4+ years of experience as a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or client-facing role * Experience with traditional data center models and components (e.g., servers, storage, networking, systems administration, and virtualization technology) * Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, including public cloud platforms, infrastructure, storage, and services **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with deployment tools and technologies (e.g., Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD), Chef, Puppet, Ansible) * Experience with operating systems, Linux system administration, or enterprise applications * Experience with public cloud platforms, infrastructure, storage, or services * Experience in security matters (e.g., authentication protocols, identity and access management systems, encryption, getting cloud structures, organization, end-point security) * Experience in areas of systems administration (e.g., Linux, programming-defined networking, virtualization, open protocols, application acceleration and load balancing, DNS, virtual private networks and their application to PaaS and IaaS technologies) **Skills and Competencies** * Strong technical skills, with a focus on cloud computing, systems administration, and technical sales engineering * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, partners, and cross-functional teams * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong business acumen, with a focus on driving business growth and customer success **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a Customer Engineer at blithequark, you'll have access to a range of career growth opportunities and learning benefits, including: * Professional development and training programs to enhance your technical skills and knowledge * Opportunities to work on high-profile projects and engage with senior leaders and clients * Collaborative and dynamic work environment with a focus on innovation and customer success * Competitive compensation and benefits package, including salary, bonuses, and stock options * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options and flexible hours **Work Environment and Company Culture** blithequark is committed to creating a work environment that's inclusive, diverse, and supportive of all employees.
