**Experienced Full Stack Customer Service Representative – Airline Operations and Customer Experience**

As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for above and below wing tasks, including customer interactions and ramp capabilities. If you're a people person with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, we want to hear from you. **Key Responsibilities** * Assist travelers with their journey needs (e.g., responding to queries, tagging, checking-in passengers and loading flights) in a fast-paced environment. * Work outside in various weather conditions while performing below wing tasks (e.g., transporting luggage and cargo, stacking and offloading equipment and cargo, airplane marshaling, pushing back the aircraft and aircraft deicing). * Perform aircraft prepping and security checks. * Handle boarding and door duties (e.g., assisting and coordinating passengers, making announcements, processing baggage and redesign requests). * Process and secure traveler baggage. Record and maintain baggage claims as necessary, including damaged, delayed, and pilfered items. * Stack and offload baggage and cargo using conveyor belts. * At the discretion of management, may be assigned to perform tasks of varying complexity to ensure total traveler satisfaction. * Perform other duties as assigned. **Work-Specific Experience, Education, and Skills** * Required: + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to multitask in a high-speed environment. + Valid driver's license. + Ability to learn and work a modernized reservation system. + Typing speed of at least 25 WPM. + Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently. + Ability to stand for extended periods. + Ability to twist, stoop, squat, reach, and handle. + Ability to perform basic math. + Ability to work an adaptable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. + Ability to participate in paid training that may require temporary travel. + Depending on the work location, ability to obtain USPS Mail Handling Certification. + Ability to acquire airport security status. + Ability to communicate in English. + High school diploma or equivalent. + Minimum age of 18. + Must be eligible to work in the U.S. * Preferred: + At least 1 year of customer service or community service experience. **Workplace Authority Assumptions** * Embody our values to claim safety, make the best choice, be compassionate, deliver execution, and be remarkable. **Compensation and Benefits** * Starting rate: USD $20.00/Hr. * Total compensation: + Alaska Airlines and Skyline Air pay and benefits can vary by organization, location, number of regularly scheduled hours worked, length of service, and business status. + Free travel privileges on Alaska Airlines and Skyline Air. + Comprehensive wellness programs, including medical, dental, and vision benefits. + Liberal 401k match program. + Quarterly and annual bonus plans. + Generous time-off and paid time-off policies. **Equal Business Opportunity** We're proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action employer that's committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
