Job Summary As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support to policyholders. You'll be responsible for answering billing questions, making policy changes, and providing recommendations to customers. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to policyholders via phone, email, and other communication channels Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and address concerns in a timely and professional manner Make policy changes, update customer information, and process transactions as needed Analyze customer needs and provide personalized recommendations and solutions Collaborate with other teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry developments to provide informed support to customers Essential Qualifications and Skills: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance industry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen actively and empathize with customers Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment with multiple priorities and deadlines Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Preferred Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience in the insurance industry or a related field Knowledge of insurance products and services, including policy terms and conditions Certifications or training in customer service, sales, or a related field Experience with data entry, reporting, and analytics Fluency in a second language What We Offer: At blithequark, we're committed to providing a comprehensive Total Rewards Program to support the financial security and well-being of our associates.
