You'll work closely with our Item Oversight team to extend our setup of client-centric products by identifying and assessing new item opportunities and proposing adaptable solutions. You'll have the opportunity to impact decisions that shape our business strategy and make a significant impact at an extraordinary scale. **Key Responsibilities** * Spearhead ad-hoc item analysis and develop foundational data solutions to better understand our Walmart clients * Work closely with our Item Oversight team to extend our setup of client-centric products by identifying and assessing new item opportunities and proposing adaptable solutions * Approach our vast global data repository to conduct in-depth analysis and drive business growth * Develop data-driven solutions that impact business decisions at scale * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Walmart Worldwide Tech, Data Administration, and other product groups, to develop data-driven solutions * Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders using tools like Power BI/Scene/Succeed * Create solutions for business issues using data-driven approaches * Work with developers, designers, and management teams to understand their needs and provide significant data insights * Understand the ethical implications of data use, storage, and analysis, particularly concerning privacy and security **Essential Qualifications** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make insightful, data-driven recommendations and solutions * Proficiency in languages used to control data and draw insights from large datasets (SQL, Python, etc.) * Experience in providing end-client support and investigating for data quality issues * Related knowledge in the retail or finance industries * Strong, persuasive oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships * Ability to adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced environment **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in working with large datasets and developing data-driven solutions * Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques * Experience in working with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions * Familiarity with data governance and data quality principles * Experience in working with cloud-based data platforms and tools **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Proficiency in languages used to control data and draw insights from large datasets (SQL, Python, etc.) * Experience in providing end-client support and investigating for data quality issues * Strong, persuasive oral and written communication skills * Ability to adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced environment * Strong collaboration and teamwork skills * Ability to understand and communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
