As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing cloud-based data pipelines that support our business needs. Key Responsibilities As a Full Stack Data Engineer, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: Designing and developing cloud-based data pipelines that are scalable, secure, and efficient Creating ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data set frameworks, and tools for continuous and batch data processing Developing data pipelines that are adaptable, repeatable, and secure Investigating software and processes for data consistency and integrity Coordinating data from various sources to ensure that they meet data quality and accessibility standards Resolving issues and barriers as they arise Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to exchange semi-complex data related to assigned tasks Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information technology, or mathematics At least 2 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong understanding of data design and development principles High-level knowledge of SQL and data modeling Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as a master's degree in computer science or information technology Experience with REST API development and cloud-based data integration Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Lake Experience with DevOps pipelines and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools Experience with cloud-based data security and governance Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Walgreens, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
