Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our IT Analytics team at American Airlines. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data-driven solutions that drive business insights and inform strategic decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design and develop data pipelines, and implement data visualization tools to support business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and implement data pipelines using a variety of tools and technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Power BI * Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs * Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data marts to support business analytics and reporting * Implement data visualization tools, such as Power BI and Tableau, to support business stakeholders * Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to extract data from various sources and load it into data warehouses and data marts * Develop and maintain data quality and data governance processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity * Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of data pipelines and data visualization tools * Develop and maintain documentation of data pipelines, data models, and data visualization tools to support knowledge sharing and onboarding Essential Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field * 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related field * Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data visualization concepts * Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Power BI * Experience with ETL processes, data quality, and data governance * Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C# * Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git * Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field * 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related field * Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) * Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop or Spark * Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or QlikView * Experience with DevOps tools, such as Jenkins or Docker * Experience with cloud-based security and compliance frameworks, such as AWS IAM or GCP IAM Skills and Competencies * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design and develop data pipelines and data visualization tools * Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams * Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C# * Experience with Agile development
