As a key member of our Fleet Engineering Team, you'll play a vital role in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues on transport category aircraft. Your expertise will help us improve aircraft systems and enhance reliability through project management. **What You'll Do** As an Engineer L2 at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: * Staying informed about day-to-day airline operations within your field of expertise * Assessing daily priorities in accordance with airline/departmental objectives and management directives * Investigating aircraft/component problems that may cause delays or cancellations, substantial expenditures in manpower or materials, or interruptions in maintenance operations, and determining appropriate corrective actions * Providing Engineering support as required for disposition of discrepant conditions affecting aircraft or components to restore serviceable status * Responding to requests from Maintenance and other airline departments when technical assistance is required to support projects or resolve problems * Developing action plans for fleet/multi-fleet and/or component engineering projects and pursuing final dispositions according to assessed priorities * Coordinating with other airline departments, as required, to provide for effective and efficient implementation of engineering dispositions * Preparing Engineering documents to implement technical dispositions by providing customized procedures for repairs, modifications, inspections, or other maintenance actions that provide benefits in accordance with airline/departmental objectives and management directives **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline * 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the aviation industry * Strong understanding of aircraft systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability **Preferred Qualifications** * Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering or a related discipline * Experience with project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum * Familiarity with aircraft maintenance and repair procedures * Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as FAA or EASA * Experience working with data analysis and reporting tools, such as SQL or Tableau **Skills and Competencies** * Strong technical expertise in aircraft systems and maintenance procedures * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously * Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a high level of collaboration and communication **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
