**Experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist – Remote Laboratory Operations**

As a remote employee, you'll be part of a collaborative and supportive team that values work-life balance and professional growth. **Key Responsibilities** As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our laboratory operations. Your primary responsibilities will include: * **Data Entry (40%):** Enter complex patient, specimen, and test information into our Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) computer system. Process a minimum of 210-450 submission forms daily, with a goal of entering 80 submission forms per hour. Determine if additional information is necessary to process test reports and complete work according to established deadlines. * **Verification and Editing (40%):** Print patient and specimen demographics and verify all information entered on a minimum of 210-450 forms per day. Edit any information that was entered incorrectly and release that work on the same day. Process submission forms for archiving and permit no more than 18 documented errors of miss-caught information per year. * **End-of-Day Reports and Filing (10%):** Run end-of-day reports, file documents, enter PKU monitoring, enter Unsatisfactory specimens, enter clinical chemistry, create boxes for filing, run newborn screen queries, pick up microbiology and newborn screen submission forms, enter rabies specimens, and read and respond to email from lab personnel in a timely manner. * **Supporting Laboratory Operations (5%):** Participate in disaster response and recovery efforts, support the creation of a laboratory-wide safety culture, and serve as a liaison to the Safety Office to ensure a healthy and safe workplace. **Essential Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * **1 year of experience** in data entry in the public or private sector, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. * **Knowledge of modern office practices**, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping. * **Knowledge of medical terminology** and the ability to work with confidential medical records/files/information. * **Strong written and verbal communication skills**, with the ability to communicate effectively with lab personnel and the public. * **Ability to work with confidential material** and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job. * **Ability to prioritize work, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines** in a fast-paced and stressful environment. * **Ability to type 55 words per minute** with high accuracy. **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, we prefer candidates with: * **Experience working with confidential material** and a proven track record of maintaining confidentiality. * **Experience in proofreading and/or editing**, performing quality assurance checks, and analyzing documents. * **Ability to work independently** in a fast-paced and stressful environment. **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you'll need to possess: * **Strong analytical and problem-solving skills**, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly. * **Excellent communication and interpersonal skills**, with the ability to work effectively with lab personnel and the public. * **Ability to work well under pressure**, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. * **Strong organizational and time management skills**, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. * **Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines**, with a focus on flexibility and teamwork. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to supporting your professional growth and development.
