You'll work closely with our Manager of Publishing Finance & Operations to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to inform business decisions. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, problem-solving, and project management in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. **Responsibilities and Projects** As a Planning & Operations Analytics Intern, your responsibilities will include: * **Craft and Deliver Impactful Industry Trend Reports**: You'll analyze data and create regular reports to provide senior management with insights-driven recommendations to inform business decisions. * **Power the Marvel Print Run Process**: You'll support critical elements of Marvel's weekly print run process, ensuring that the right number of books hits the shelves at the right time. * **Mastering COGS Summaries**: You'll be responsible for preparing COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) summaries, comparing forecasts with actuals, and highlighting growing trends to guide data-driven decisions. * **Inventory Optimization Expert**: You'll collaborate with our Planning team to analyze sales and inventory movement, allowing us to optimize warehouse inventory and prevent stock shortages. * **Title and Contributor Metadata Optimization**: You'll lead metadata optimization tasks, including title and contributor (artist/writer) enhancements, to supercharge sales for our valued retailers. **Required Qualifications & Skills** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * **Masterful Communication**: You'll need to possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as your ability to convey insights and collaborate effectively is paramount. * **Data-Driven Problem-Solver**: You'll need to be an experienced problem-solver, well-versed in data analysis and interpretation. * **Meticulously Organized**: Your meticulous organization and unwavering attention to detail will ensure that no data issue goes unnoticed, making you a valuable asset to our team. * **Project Juggler**: Your ability to seamlessly transition between tasks and consistently meet deadlines is the cornerstone of our dynamic and fast-paced work environment. **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, a passion for the entertainment industry, particularly Marvel Comics, is a bonus.
