The Job We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join the Studio Data Management team within Content and Business Products (CBP), which develops applications that drive growth in content creation. Our team oversees data quality for several large functional information indexes used extensively across these applications. We work closely with product teams to ensure that the data is adding value to their products while also striving to improve basic data quality through better processes, analysis, rules, and user education. Key Responsibilities Focus on data related to the agreements Netflix makes with talent and studios for the content we put on service. Bargain data is used throughout studio projects, from pitch to play, and it's essential that this data is accurate, complete, and linked. In this role, you will help define, analyze, and report on data quality standards to meet business needs, devise and promote best practices, and create and execute processes to effectively monitor and fix data. Work with product teams on projects related to product development while also directing improvements to fundamental data integrity. Develop close-term and long-term thinking for bargain data needs across the studio, including data quality and data training. Make quarterly objectives to meet close and long-term business targets and lead execution of guide drives. Act as the primary data element subject matter expert across the studio, communicating with product management, architects, designers, and partners on business related to bargain data. Collaborate with product management, product DSE, and other partners to define, create, analyze, and report metrics that provide visibility into various aspects of data quality. Independently define and implement procedures to efficiently scale data quality work. Lead data quality initiatives to support product development and to improve fundamental data quality, creating detailed plans that identify business impact, timelines, and risks and executing on work. Manage partner requests and drive partner alignment when required. Act as a resource for answering clients' data-related support requests. Collaborate with business groups to create and implement more effective processes, best data practices, and educational documentation. Capabilities and Qualifications We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced data management professional with a strong background in data sets and/or content management systems. The ideal candidate will have: At least 3 years of experience working in data management with data sets and/or content management systems. Strong analytical skills and the ability to combine data across a wide ecosystem to analyze issues and devise solutions. Strong understanding of workflow and the ability to identify shortcomings. General understanding of the pitch-to-play lifecycle of content. Knowledge of data lifecycle and data administration concepts. Excellent time management and project management skills and the ability to oversee timelines for multiple projects. Strong ability to communicate with empathy and clarity to technical and non-technical audiences. Adaptability in an evolving environment. Proficiency with Google Suite and table-based applications (e.g., Excel, Airtable). Desirable Skills and Experience Experience with SQL. Experience working with product, design, and customer support teams. Experience in legal tasks or studio operations. Experience working at a studio, distributor, film sales, production company, office, management firm, or other entertainment industry.
