You'll work closely with our Application Development team to design, implement, and maintain data systems, data streams, and information models that support our business operations. Your expertise will be essential in helping us to make data-driven decisions and drive business growth. **Key Responsibilities** * Work with the Application Development team to execute data systems, build data streams, and develop data models that meet business requirements * Design and implement coherent and accurate data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and support application, group, and intelligent use cases * Develop, enhance, and update data models to support new and existing projects according to organizational guidelines * Develop data modeling solutions optimized for social, layered, and NoSQL databases * Maintain applied, coherent, and accurate data models along with corresponding metadata * Develop and implement standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models * Suggest opportunities for reuse of data models in new contexts * Perform analysis of actual data models from databases and SQL scripts * Assess data models and actual databases for changes and errors * Approve business data objects for accuracy and completeness * Examine data-related system integration challenges and propose suitable solutions * Guide Framework Investigators, Architects, Software Engineers, and others on project boundaries and capabilities, execution requirements, and interfaces * Survey adjustments to existing software to improve productivity and performance * Examine new application design and suggest remedies when necessary **What You'll Bring** * A strong academic record and a degree in Computer Science or a related field * At least 10+ years of hands-on experience in data warehousing * Solid knowledge of various data modeling techniques for data warehousing, including 3NF, Layered, hybrid, and others * Experience working with large-scale (100 TB+) data warehouses (DW)/operational data stores (ODS) * Critical involvement in building data models for MPP, Social, and NoSQL innovations, such as BigData, Hive, SQL*Server, Hadoop, Cassandra, Cloud DBs like Large Query or Snowflake * Excellent experience working with globally distributed teams in a collaborative and productive way * Strong relational and communication skills across a variety of stakeholders, ability to negotiate and influence others **About arenaflex Worldwide Tech** Imagine working in a culture where one line of code can make a difference in the lives of millions of people.
