Job Summary As a Data Scientist on our Analytics and Behavior Change team, you'll play a critical role in developing and implementing data-driven solutions to improve healthcare outcomes and patient experiences. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns, and develop predictive models to inform business decisions. Your expertise in data science, machine learning, and data visualization will help us drive innovation and growth in the healthcare industry. Key Responsibilities Develop, validate, and deploy algorithms, statistical models, and reporting tools to drive business insights and inform decision-making. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, and develop predictive models to address complex business problems. Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement data-driven solutions that drive business outcomes and improve patient experiences. Communicate complex data insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders through clear and compelling visualizations and presentations. Develop and maintain data pipelines and architectures to support data-driven decision-making. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science, machine learning, and healthcare, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and growth. Requirements To be successful in this role, you'll need: A bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in programming or scientific computing, with expertise in languages such as Python, R, or SQL. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and complex data systems. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex data insights into actionable recommendations. Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js. Experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques. Preferred Qualifications We'd love to see: A graduate degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science. Experience working in the healthcare industry, with a deep understanding of healthcare trends and challenges. Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services. Experience with agile development methodologies and collaborative software development.
