Our services include express transportation, ground delivery, cargo services, customs clearance, and e-commerce solutions. **Key Responsibilities** As a Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for: * Performing both qualitative and quantitative analysis on large data sets to understand patterns and relationships between factors and gain predictive insights * Planning and executing investigations to answer designated questions and resolve identified issues by effectively collaborating with colleagues to understand key business challenges * Leading investigations on various streams of data to address complex business issues * Planning and executing reporting dashboards using established data warehouse designs that track and visually communicate key business metrics and provide significant insights * Writing and interpreting complex queries to address business issues; planning and evaluating algorithms based on guidelines to provide analysis and insights into patterns used for consistency; streamlining and automating existing reporting and analysis inventory, and new project positive outcome metrics to surpass arenaflex Quality guidelines through the use of Value Drive Management (QDM) standards and tools * Identifying internal and external data sources, building effective working relationships with knowledgeable authorities within arenaflex and the external marketplace * Assisting with data transfer and preparation of business intelligence to the arenaflex team as a knowledgeable authority; firmly influencing the team by creating, standardizing, and maintaining an information-driven investigation culture **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Information Science or a related field with a focus on AI, Predictive Analysis, Advanced Investigation, Stream Handling, Representations required. Master's degree preferred * Experience in tackling analysis issues through the use of data science procedures in academic or work environment models required **Preferred Qualifications** * Proficient with MS office applications * Master level with SQL (Structured Query Language) * Involvement in Teradata and Prophet social data set stages is desired * Experience in data visualization, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) concepts, query execution tuning and testing is an asset * Involvement in large datasets, MapReduce engineering systems like Pig and Hadoop, statistical programming like R, and pre-processing languages like Python and Ruby is an asset * Involvement in visualization tools, such as Tableau or Spotfire is an asset * Ability to read, analyze, and interpret normal technical journals, reports, and related documents * Ability to effectively present data to management, end-users, colleagues, or salespeople * Ability to work with numerical concepts like probability * Ability to apply concepts like rates, proportions, percentages, and positioning to make reasonable conclusions * Ability to define issues, gather data, establish facts, and make sound decisions * Requires strong scientific and critical thinking skills * Ability to perform complex tasks with limited guidance **Work Environment and Company Culture** As a Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will be part of a dynamic and innovative team that is passionate about using data to drive business decisions.
