We're looking for a talented and experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to join our Foundation Arrangements Gathering (ISG) TechOps Group in Poland. As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you'll play a critical role in delivering IaaS/PAAS/SAAS for the ISG Development teams, accelerating their pace of innovation by ensuring all critical systems are running 24x7 alongside Designing Development while driving division-wide Change Drives to modernize Designing Activities across multiple lines of business. **What You'll Accomplish** * Be responsible for the sustainment and maintenance of our core K8s framework stages organized through OpenShift, Farmer, and Tanzu to suitable guidelines and best practices in a fast-paced environment. * Serve as the technical lead for "Kubernetes as a Service" presenting for internal clients in helping the needs for "On Demand K8s Cluster" On-prem cloud (OpenShift, Vmware Tanzu, and Farmer) with its various stages, providing expert guidance. * Be accountable for carrying out GitOps rules to incorporate the project-wide cluster provisioning/automation and day 2 life cycle management using K8s native CI/CD tools like ArgoCD, Jenkins. * Ensure the essential security policies are executed and authorized across their work, Fix Management. Aid documentation of project requirements, statements of work, and service descriptions. Guarantee backup and recovery for critical resources to include Disaster Recovery Plan. * Manage Linux system administration on physical and virtual servers, including installation and maintaining equipment, software, and applications. Investigate, analyze, and resolve issues with any Kubernetes objects like deployments, pods, namespaces, replication controllers, daemon sets, schedulers, etc. **Join a Team That's Changing the World** At arenaflex, we're not just looking for employees – we're looking for team members who share our passion for innovation and making a difference. This is what we're looking for with this role: **Essential Qualifications** * Industry knowledge and experience in cloud-native structures, service-based design, container-based solutions development, deployment, and operations as implemented for various conditions and use cases. * Master working knowledge of Openshift, Vmware Tanzu K8s Matrix Services, Working knowledge of ACM, ACS, Tanzu application services, and Farmer with a strong foundation in VMWare virtualization, networking/SAN, security, containerization technologies, automation. * Demonstrated experience with planning, creating, and delivering global-scale stages for programming-defined data center, container advancements in the industry (Docker, containerd, mailman, Kubernetes, NSX-T, Calico, OVN, etc.), Argo/Argoevents, DevOps practices, and CI/CD tools. * Experience with DevOps, including continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) for container jobs using Jenkins or ArgoCD. Programming/Scripting experience with Yaml, Python, Shell; design management/organization tools, Ansible automation platform/AWX. Responsible for creating scripts to automate work processes. * Understanding of System, Network, and Application monitoring. Hands-on experience with Load Balancers like NGINX/Haproxy, ALB load balancers. Work experience on PPDM backup tool, Velero, MiniIO. **Preferred Qualifications** * Redhat Openshift Certifications and Kubernetes certifications like CKA, CKD, or CKS are a plus. * Experience using ServiceNow, Jira, Infoblox. **Benefits** Our people are the most critical part of our long-term success, and their well-being and prosperity are our top priority.
