As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be part of a talented team that is passionate about delivering exceptional results and making a lasting impact. **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to join our Foundation Arrangements Gathering (ISG) TechOps Group in Poland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the sustainment and maintenance of our core K8s framework stages, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will also be the technical lead for "Kubernetes as a Service" presentations, providing expert guidance to internal clients on the use of "On Demand K8s Cluster" On-prem cloud (OpenShift, Vmware Tanzu, and Farmer). **Key Responsibilities** * Sustain and maintain our core K8s framework stages, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. * Provide expert guidance to internal clients on the use of "On Demand K8s Cluster" On-prem cloud (OpenShift, Vmware Tanzu, and Farmer). * Implement GitOps rules to incorporate project-wide cluster provisioning/automation and day 2 lifecycle management using K8s native CI/CD tools like ArgoCD and Jenkins. * Ensure the implementation of essential security policies across their work, Fix management. * Aid documentation of project requirements, statements of work, and service descriptions. * Ensure backup and recovery for critical resources, including Disaster Recovery Plan. * Linux system administration on physical and virtual servers, including installation and maintenance of hardware, software, and applications. * Investigate, analyze, and resolve issues with any Kubernetes objects, such as deployments, pods, namespaces, replication controllers, daemon sets, schedulers, etc. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we believe in the importance of continuous learning and professional growth. As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to excellence and driven by a shared sense of purpose. **Compensation, Perks, and Benefits** We offer a comprehensive compensation package that includes: * Competitive salary of $26/hour. * Comprehensive health insurance. * Group life insurance. * Global travel medical insurance. * Emergency travel assistance. * Employee assistance program. * Stipend for remote work. * 29 days per year to work from abroad. * Lunch card. * Benefit frameworks vouchers or multisport card. * Language classes. * Discounts for Dell products. * Health program. * Paid employee referral program. * Employee recognition program. **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. * Industry experience and knowledge of cloud-native structures, services-based design, container-based solutions development, deployment, and operations as implemented for different conditions and use cases. * Master working knowledge of OpenShift, Vmware Tanzu K8s Matrix Services, working knowledge of ACM, ACS, Tanzu application services, and Farmer with a solid foundation in VMWare virtualization, networking/SAN, security, containerization technologies, automation. * Demonstrated experience with planning, creating, and delivering worldwide scale stages for programming-defined server farm, container advancements in the business (Docker, containerd, mailman, Kubernetes, NSX-T, Calico, OVN, etc.), Argo/Argoevents, DevOps practices, and CI/CD tools. * Experience with DevOps, including continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) for container jobs using Jenkins or ArgoCD. * Programming/scripting experience with Yaml, Python, Shell; design management/organization tools, Ansible automation stage/AWX. * Accountable for creating contents to automate work processes. * Comprehension of System, Organization, and Application monitoring. Hands-on experience with Entrance Regulators like NGINX/Haproxy programming load-balancer, ALB entrance regulators.
