You will contribute to business-wide needs and ensure the adoption of same, including transparency, flexibility, accessibility, security, and cost effectiveness. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead DevOps strategy covering planning, development of tools, practices, and culture * Establish and uphold DevOps best practices, including version control, code review, automated testing, and deployment techniques * Design and manage infrastructure as code, using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar, to provision and manage assets across cloud environments * Execute and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar, ensuring fast and reliable application deployment * Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure teams are adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements * Monitor and analyze DevOps pipelines and practices, identifying areas for improvement, advancement, and automation to enhance deployment/failback consistency and accuracy * Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies, trends, and best practices, and make recommendations for their adoption within the organization's DevOps environment * Coach and provide technical guidance to junior colleagues, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning **Required Capabilities:** * Experience working in open cloud environments, GCP (e.g.), Azure, AWS, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) * Proficiency in infrastructure as code concepts and tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) for automating asset provisioning and deployment * Active involvement in CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., Git) * Strong scripting abilities in languages like Python, Bash, or similar * Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex DevOps stage issues and provide effective solutions * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders **Preferred Capabilities:** * Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Cloud Logging Solutions) ensuring application performance and system health * Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps, including experience with vulnerability scanning, compliance frameworks, and secure deployment practices * Leadership experience, including mentoring and directing junior specialists, is a plus **About Our Culture** At blithequark, we share a single, clear purpose: Carrying our heart to every moment of your health.
