About the Job We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full Stack Financial Data Analyst to join our growing Accounting team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional groups, driving key framework initiatives, and improving our financial processes. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Technical Accounting, Functional Accounting, Engineering, Product, Finance, Tax, Legal, and other stakeholders on policies, processes, and projects, and help drive key framework initiatives and improvements Design and plan comprehensive accounting data requirements to facilitate the automation of journal entries, ensuring accuracy, completeness, compliance, and efficiency in financial cycles Lead functional improvement initiatives to further streamline revenue tasks and shorten the revenue close schedule Monitor data quality of journal entries generated via the Revenue Subledger and design Data Quality checks for identified use cases through accounting requirements design, ad-hoc investigations, new product launches, etc. Work with the Product and Engineering teams to continuously improve our daily Revenue Reconciliation process and manage reconciliation analysis with the help of the analytics team Review new product designs presented during internal Financial Compliance meetings and evaluate the impact on existing or need for new accounting requirements for the Revenue Subledger Cross-collaborate with collaborating teams on the journal entry streams for new or existing products for automation via the Revenue Subledger Perform monthly revenue accounting close responsibilities, including but not limited to: GAAP revenue analysis, cost of revenue analysis, accounts receivable reconciliations, review journal entries, and review close package expectations Ad-hoc investigations and projects as assigned Essential Qualifications 3+ years of experience in revenue accounting, data analysis, or business intelligence Strong knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606 Revenue Recognition required; knowledge of IFRS a plus Intermediate/advanced SQL skills and ability to work with large volumes of transactional data, Python a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing environments Ability to communicate with all levels of management and cross-functional teams, both internally and externally Preferred Qualifications Experience with data engineering and accounting domains Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques Experience with agile project management methodologies Strong understanding of financial systems and processes Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to supporting our employees' growth and development.
