Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at American Express. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a pivotal role in aligning human resources strategies with business objectives to enhance employee performance and organizational effectiveness. This position requires a proactive approach to understanding the business landscape and fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and high performance. You will partner closely with senior leaders to develop and implement HR initiatives that drive workforce engagement and organizational success. Key Responsibilities As a Full Stack Human Resources Business Partner, you will be responsible for: Partnering with business leaders to understand their goals and challenges, providing strategic HR support to drive organizational performance. Developing and implementing talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent within the organization. Advising on employee relations issues, conducting investigations and resolving conflicts to maintain a positive work environment. Collaborating with learning and development teams to create programs that enhance employee skills and support career growth. Utilizing HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and provide insights into workforce trends and areas for improvement. Leading change management initiatives, supporting leaders and employees through transitions and organizational changes. Promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to create a workplace that reflects the diverse communities we serve. Managing performance management processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and employee development goals. Required Skills and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is highly desirable. A strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization. Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Experience in remote work environments and virtual collaboration tools. Experience We are looking for candidates with: A minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on business partnering and talent management. Demonstrated experience in employee relations, organizational development, and change management. Experience working in a global organization or understanding of cross-cultural dynamics is a plus.
